one of the downsides of oversleeping for me is SINUS. my nose is totally blocked.like wtf.n im feeling so so so sleepy. -___-

on a sidenote, im really happy that tammy and victor (on the amazing race) have both clinched 1st place for 2 weeks in a row! man, do they make us asians proud :)) they so deserve to be first although they came in 2nd (Mark & Michael initially arrived 1st, but were issued two 30-minute penalties – one for tampering with the bike pumps at the 2 Miles Detour, and the other for hiring a taxi to guide them through the task, which was explicitly prohibited in the clue. Consequently, they dropped to 3rd.) Serve them right! Muahahaha. jaime & cara were hilarious when they called mark and michael twiddledum and twiddledee. anw, i was sadd to see mel and mike go! :(( it was all bcuz of that stuupid cab driver who told them that the gorilla statue could be found in patong beach!! like are u kidding me??!! gorillas = phuket zoo!!! im still fuming over the fact that mark and michael got away with just penalties, they should be disqualified!!!!! and mel and mike should stay in the race.

saturday was a day spent with mum n bro. we were dashing around s'pore in the morning, from bukit batok, to race course road and finally to beach road. i was really tiredd n hungry! so we ended up at raffles city to have lunch!!! my bro was saying that since we had eaten at aerins and out of the pan before, we should try something new, so we ate at CANELE, a french restaurant famous for its macaroons. the food was yummylicious! :)) and the ambience was really nice too! with a fountain right alongside our table. my bro was acting like a 5 yr old kid, pls. he actually played with the water. like omgg. wahahahaha XD  we had vol-en-vent with ragout of mushrooms and chickenbraised wagyu brisket in red wine. desert was nutella crepe. XD XD nice nice.  


after lunch, we walked around. went to esprit first, hoping to use up my voucher, but didnt in the end. cuz i think that esprit issues the worst vouchers in history with so many terms and conditions. so HECK LA. to hell with the voucher. river island had nice stuff. all checkqered. HAHA. which means that it is in season. :)) then we went to dorothy perkins. i fell in love with a blouse and my bro bought it for me! :)) yayness. happy.happy. we then walked around the various kids shops upstairs. lifebaby had loads of cute dresses. i loved the formula 1 grid girl outfit!!! will buy for sherry when she grows up! :)) mum said that in the future, once my dad is fully recovered, we would all go see the F1 race, so i will buy the outfit for sherry then. haha the youngest and cutest singtel F1 grid girl ever! :)) me and my bro were horsing around at robinsons children section. haha. we were playing with all the toys. so cuute. but we will wait till sherry is older. :)) plus ive got like 2 huge cupboards filled with toys. so they will all be hers next time! :)) on a sidenote, coach has really nice bags and aldo has got great gladiator scandals! :)) 

we left raffles city at around 4pm. and headed to goodwood park hotel. to get durian cake! im such a fan of goodwood park's durian fiesta. we will always buy them every year without fail cuz we swear by goodwood park's food! i was sadd that the durian pudding was like out of stock. :(( they also have oreo durian cake which me and my bro love very very much but since not all my family members like oreo, we didnt get it. 



next was home sweet home. aunt and uncle went to no signboard seafood restaurant to get takeaway for dinner to celebrate my other aunt's bdae. so we had a sumptous dinner. crayfish was in season! so we had crayfish with salted eggs. yummm. XD

sunday was jap lesson. lesson was as usual, nothing new. but it was ok, not boring at all. but she sort of like finished too early, so revision at the end was kinda .... haha. ong-san (our classmate) offered me and chunni a ride to tp. chunni and i had ya kun kaya toast for teatime. 4 slices of bread was a lil too much! haha. it was raining cats and dogs by the time i met my aunt at the library, tsk tsk. 

monday was a day out with sis. made our way to orchard after her gynae's appt. as promised, we had Din Tai Fung for lunch. :)) lurve the food :)) then we walked ard wisma for a while b4 going to taka. my sis went to meet her student at macs n i went to shop shop myself. whoah. i loved the new juicy coulture shop in taka! XD the stuff was nice nice nice. i went to zara ( havent been there in ages) and fell in love with a dress? ( is it a dress? its more like a half-dress?) swore to myself that i will bring my sis to zara later. haha. then went mango. n pull n bear. went to the talking hall, and saw my ideal hp case. haha. so my sis bought it for me in the end. its really cute. i mean the pictures of the dog on it. haha. so we went to zara, i tried on the half-dress, liked it and my sis purchased it for me. oh yeah, its great having older sisters and brothers. wahahahaha
. 

so today is a real ordinary day. im waiting (rather impatiently) for the FINAL, yes, the FINAL episode of boys over flowers to be uploaded. oh god  i cant wait! the straits times comparison of the 3 boys over flowers versions is rather vague. i'll do MY comparison in the next post. hmm. yes i will. since i watched all 3 versions. haha. 

so im off to play with lil sherry. adieu.

wow.it's been more than a year since i last blogged. couldnt remember the username and password from my blogspot account, so started a livejournal one instead.
hmm.it certainly had been a rough year (2008), lots of downs rather than ups, but i must admit that after As, life was indeed more up than down.
A level results were a relief. :)) im actually quite happy with what i got. except for GP. like wth. i mean how would u feel if there are ppl in tj who speak and write in singlish but still get an A and u dont. feel like killing myself. HAHA. no lahh. im ok with a B.
getting back A level results was so not like getting back PSLE & O level results. for one, i didnt cry. XD
some of u may not know that PSLE & O Level which are like 2 major academic hurdles in my life were also my 2 major letdowns in my life. but heyy. im grateful that A levels didnt let me down!! :))

haha.getting back results was a funny affair, not for me but for chunni. she had to go to the general office to get her results cuz she didnt pay school fines. so we queued for more than half an hour outside. SO HOT PLS, and i was like complaining incessantly, when she finally reached the counter, the woman said that her name wasnt on the list of owing school fees. And we were like shocked and scared and thinking "so where did her results slip go???". in the end, she didnt pay her library fines, which add up to 6 bucks. And it was my fault, yeah MINE OK. i forgot to pay for her!!! cuz it was actually me who borrowed books under her name. WAHAHAHAHAHA. XD  damn funny,
then after that, it was like a tour around the school. For me, it was chatting with shum and zsa, going down to mr peck's office, slacking in there, going off to see ms tay, then running up to intercept ms J!!! 
i was really happy that i got a chance to properly thank ms J. nobody in my family could understand why i love geog so much, but ms j could. and because of her, i dont regret standing by my descision to take geog instead of the popular econs. if there are 2 things that i could make me think of tj fondly, it would be GEOG & FRIENDS! im really glad that i met a bunch of geogers (including ms j & mr elwin) that made me love geog more than i did in the past, that made my life in tj so much more memorable (kuantan trip, lectures,tutorials, fieldtrips). geog was the subject that i enjoyed learning the most. :) when it comes to friends, im glad that i have found friends, who are not just acquaintances, but friends who i can count on, who i can confide in. im a person who treasures close friendships, not frivolous ones. and im thankful that tj has given me friends that has touched my life, and are still continuing to do so. 

in truth, a tiny part of me still believes that if i had gone to AC and had taken Arts instead of science, my grades would have been so much better. but regrets have diminished over the 2 years. so now is the time when i dont regret my descision anymore and to pursue my interest in humanities in NUS. im glad that i have a goal in mind which is within my reach and that i dont have to apply for scholarships to get into uni. writing personal statements would just kill me. scholarships do drive a hard bargain. so all the best to those who are applying for them! Jiayou! :))  

life after release of results has been good! :)
went with chunni to vivo right after that. i doubt that i will ever find a waist belt that fits me. no belt is that small!! :(( but i shall try my luck in bugis street someday!! :)) we went to have marche for dinner!! the kampung chicken was good!!! XD
saturday was another busy day. met up with lulu in the morning and early afternoon. luckily, i was smart to forsee that she will be late. she was late for 1 hour and 2 minutes!!! so i ended up only waiting for her for 5 mins. WAHAHAHA. went esprit to shop, then went french connection. we had fish and co for lunch. mussels with garlic lemon butter sauce was da bomb!! XD had fish and chips with cheese stuffing too!! the embarrassing incident occured. like OMG. O_O. HAHAHA. but i guess the most embarrassing part would be that we were giggling & laughing along orchard road. damn hysterical pls!!! XD we took MRT together but i left first to meet shum, dele and jianhui at PS. Watched Marley and ME. damn nice. it was really really touching. i cried :((( why did marley have to die???
then its home for the 'surprise' dinner. not that surprising really. wahahaha. the food was good. :)) 
after dinner, i was a lil (just a lil) sad that mum said i couldnt go on an overseas trip with lulu. but she made me a lil happier when she told me that she allowed me to go kyoto, japan with my bro and sis-in-law. SHOULD I GO???? i think there is a 70% chance that i will go. haha. i totally miss japan!! XD
sunday was jap lesson day. quite fun i must say. WAHAHAHA.i had so much laughing gas in me. it was so hard controlling my laughter. and chunni was no help at all. dinner at raffles city at a restaurant called Aerin's (i think), was good. the beef au gratin was great! and so was the fish and chips!!! :))
